About You (Job Description)

We’re looking for an Applied Researcher who combines strong data science foundations with robust programming skills. Your mission will be to push forward our pioneering work in unlearning for Deep Learning and Large Language Models (LLMs). This includes advanced analysis, manipulation, and fine-tuning of LLMs, as well as exploring similarity-based algorithms, classical ML methods, and beyond.

You’ll bring a versatile, multidisciplinary skill set to tackle these problems from all angles. As part of a fast-moving startup, you won’t just contribute to research — you’ll help shape applied AI products that deliver value in both critical applications and advanced enterprise AI-based systems.

Employment type: Full-time. Hybrid: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote.

Location: Hirundo is a 5-minute walk from the Binyamina train station.

Skills

Required:

• Educational Background: Master’s degree (M.Sc.) or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, EE, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related area.
• Industry Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Deep Learning (DL) research, specifically working with unstructured data sets and developing Large Language Model (LLM)-based systems.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced programming skills in Python, with extensive experience in deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and HuggingFace.
• Comprehensive Skillset: Ability to manage the full lifecycle of a feature – from conceptualization and design, through architecture planning, coding, integration, to deployment.
• Product-Oriented Approach: Demonstrated ability to work with a product-driven focus, emphasizing solutions that meet user needs and business goals.

Preferred:

• ML System Management: Experience in owning, maintaining, and optimizing deployed Machine Learning systems for enhanced performance and reliability.
• Advanced Research: A background in conducting research on the intricacies of Deep Neural Networks (DNNs) and/or Large Language Models, with a solid publication record or demonstrable projects - a plus.
